The famous Monte Carlo CP2771 Series 4 piston brake caliper from AP Racing. Manufacture has continued due to the continued and increasing demand for this caliper first seen in the sixties and most prolifcally on the Works Escorts which used them through the seventies.
With the need to prepare classic and historic race and rally cars using period components, AP Racing have re-created a whole range of products to help make this possible, as there were not enough originals to equip the number of cars being built.
The Monte Carlo caliper was used on the Gp.IV Escorts on the front of the Tarmac cars, used on ventillated 260mm x 25.4mm discs. This closed back, hard anodised, caliper can accomodate a disc width upto 28mm and a diameter from 260mm upto 302mm, the mounting lugs come un-drilled and can accomodate mounting centres of between 76.2mm through to 94.0mm, so it can be used on various cars, drilled to suit.
These calipers weigh 2.7kg and feature 4 x 38.1mm pistons with high temperature seals. The inlet port is a 3/8" x 24 UNF female. Please allow upto 4 weeks for delivery, although dispatch can be within 24hrs, check with us for availability if you are working to a deadline.
